[MVM508]: CMVM Staff and Visitor print consolidation

• Two printers ordered for chancellors.

[MVM509] Implementation of Vet Practice Management System RAG is GREEN

Achievements in Last Period

• Agreement with Project Board on revised timeline  milestones and budget.
• Training environment refreshed from LIVE; training now underway for HFSA staff.
• HFSA Critical Launch Acceptance Review (Go / No Go Decision) milestone achieved.
• HFSA users added to LIVE Provet environment (currently set to inactive to prevent unapproved use while training in progress).
• Progress with FNS towards delivering a procedure for regular refreshing of the DEMO environment with data from the LIVE environment.
• Additional incremental updates of Tristan DB and Filestore  added to Provet LIVE environment - Provet now includes Tristan data up to 24/10/18. 
• UoE confirmed nobody available to attend Provet day in Gothenburg in October - possibly meet at a later date in 2019.
• Detailed planning for launch period underway (internal and with FNS).

Issues

• No major issues.
• Concerns remain on availability of key R(D)SVS staff to engage with Provet training ; Sue Murphy is aware of this so no escalation necessary at this stage; Business Lead taking responsibility for coordinating targetted training requirements for staff. Senior User is supporting this by helping move commitments from Business Lead to facilitate the 1-2-1 training sessions.

• Working to revised delivery plan (launch start of December).
• Review project plan, timeline, estimates for next Project Board 20/11/18.
• Review budget, resourcing, timeline and milestones.

[MVM522] MVM Business Process Review for SharePoint Delivery  RAG is RED

Achievements

• Commenced two initial pilots with Usher and IGMM
• Initiate work against research standalone requirements
• Commenced discussions around requirements for new Head of academic administration, Philippa Burrell

[MVM525] Procurement of a Vendor Neutral Archiving (VNA) System for the Vet School RAG is RED

Achievements This Period

• Business Requirements

  • the process to capture the business requirements has continued with the focus on teaching  and research requirements 

  • the first draft of the business requirements, incorporating  requirements captured to-date, was reviewed by the senior user and feedback incorporated

• Early market engagement has continued

  • analysis of identified supplier products been undertaken to determine core and extended functionality - to assist with price modelling

  • restricted procurement strategy appears to be the preferred option

• project re-planned to accommodate remaining requirements gathering and restricted procurement strategy

Issues

• The project manger has been advised of the decision to change the forward direction of this project whereby;
  • the current project will be stopped and closed
  • an alternative strategy to purchase a replacement PACS system will be led by the MVM IS team

• Project Board meeting to be held to formally close the project

[MVM526] Zhejiang Institute Repository RAG is GREEN

Achievements this period

• Pilot site validated in Zhejiang - access and BAU performance
• Pilot site further developed and a considerable amount of daily documents were migrated testing both the migration element and introducing core documents onto site
• Live site created
• Project brief on track for mid November approval
