Programme Commentary
The start of year position for the programme shows that some adjustments need to be made to budgets to cover the continuing work on LMP006. LMP007 has recently completed which was planned to continue into 16/17 financial year.

LMP006
Feeding Visitor data into Alma D Milestones RAG Status AMBER | Report by Karen Stirling for September 2016 Achievements in Last Period - Change Based Feed promoted to test and test plan reviewed, awaiting staff and student test accounts to commence UAT
- VRS Changes peer testing completed
- MicroService, and Self Reg - UI build completed, peer testing due to complete w/c 3rd Oct - no major issues highlighted to date
- User Acceptance plan being finalised for VRS Changes and Self - Reg UI ready for UAT
- Self Reg UI has been presented to business teams within Library and Helpdesk to understand if any additional changes to processes are required
Issues - Additional funding of 85 days has been found and funded from LMP Programme following agreement with Programme Owner and Programme Manager this is being raised as a change to the project, as agreed project tasks remaining will be re-assessed following build review and re-estimated for clarity
- Risks raised on the project last month are being progressed
- Initial setup of Microservice on new dev server is progressing and it is hoped that once completed,expected 30th Sept, that our development completed on appsutil can be migrated over to the new server including test. This being the case we will complete build review around 10th Oct.
- Update on deployment of WEB010 OAuth2 server to Production - confirmed by Dev Tech that the LIVE infrastructure is now in place for the three WEB010 services: oauth.ws-apps.is.ed.ac.uk, notify.ws-apps.is.ed.ac.uk and notifyadm.is.ed.ac.uk. The new VMs for LMP006 and COM027 expected to be built and ready for code by 30th Sept.
- VRS Service Owner has communicated that they are unhappy with a number of the VRS changes that have been developed as part of the project, although these changes were signed off by Service Management representatives on the project. Discussion underway with Project Sponsor and Project Manager to review with Service Owner on project team members' return from annual leave mid October
- Some development work identified for ITI to complete on Central Auth and EASE expecetd to be ready for test on 10th Oct.
- Milestones have been reviewed and delivery date has been moved out to 22 November target date due to dependency on server being built by COM027 and concerns raised by Service Management on VRS. This has been communicated to Business Lead and Project Sponsor
Next - Build review sign off to be completed for Self Reg UI and VRS
- Complete user acceptance testing for Change Based Feed and Bulk Feed
- Complete EQIA
- Gain acceptance from Service Management for VRS Search development
- Commence UAT for Self Reg -UI and VRS

LMP008
Resource List software integration with Alma Library Management Platform D Milestones RAG Status GREEN | Report by Karen Stirling for Sptember 2016 Achievements in Last Period - Initial Project Board meeting held on 13th September with key representatives from IS Apps, LUC and Procurement
- Project Brief together with project plan, risks and estimation approved at Project Board and via Internal IS Apps approval process
- Business Requirements including Mandatories collated together with Strategy documentation by Procurement
- Mandatory requirements and scenarios reviewed by Academic representatives at subsequent Project Board meeting held on 27th September and given their approval
- Further Stakeholders identified for Project Board and project team
Issues - Procurement resource has changed following the secondment of allocated manager to Service Excellence, also PM and Business Lead have limited availability in early October due to annual leave therefore possibility that ITT submission may be delayed until 19th October, Project Sponsor and Project Board aware of situation. Alternatives dates have been proposed to update project plan if deemed necessary.
Next Steps - Submission of ITT by Procurement on 5th October
- Prep project team in readiness for clarification and evaluation in November
- Assign IS Apps Business Analyst to review existing processes aligned to Reading List to highlight any possible changes to processes which could be adopted by L&UC
