October Programme Report
- Report Date
- October 2017
Morna Findlay (IS Apps Programme Manager) for Zoe Lewandowski (Programme Owner)
DRAFT Section One: Programme Commentary, RAG and Resources Update
Commentary
The programme manager considers that overall the programme is GREEN.
Having reviewed the Tomcat "end of life project"with the head of Production Management, the programme manager expects the project to be withdrawn. The Tomcat for APEX does not yet have to be upgraded but there may be work to be done to upgrade Apache for all application son the server (including APEX). The current project will be withdrawn once it is confirmed that this work will be carried out by Information Services in 2018-19.
Risk - Erecruitment Licencing - NCA required
The e-recruitment contract needs to be updated by October 2017. The original 5 year contract concludes in October and any extension for a further year must be arranged by October. An extension would be done as a Non-Competitive Action (NCA) and this is essential to be licensed to continue using eRecruitment. HRS resources are currently working on extending this contract.
Risk - GDPR
there is uncertainty over whether any IS development will be needed by HR in order to ensure compliance with GDPR by May 25, 2018.
IS and HR are working together with suppliers (CORE and ORACLE) and the DPO to analyse what steps might be taken under support, or may require another solution.
There will be a meeting to review progress on 20/11/17.
