Section One: Programme Commentary, RAG and Resources Update

During December 

  • Both active projects, whilst progressing have encountered some delays to a combination of planned annual leave 
  • Discussions on-going regarding progressing Cold Fusion upgrade projects or AIR and Retain as a core funded project within the forthcoming planning round.   In preparation, separate project proposals have been drafted 
  • Initial discussions on-going regarding annual planning proposals for 2020-21, noting the potential projects for 2020-21
    • Continuing development of AIR (sponsor funded - funding to be confirmed) 
    • Continuing development of RETAIN (sponsor funded - funding to be confirmed) 
    • Continuing development of CHPS (sponsor funded - funding to be confirmed)

Achievements this Period

  • Build
    • The cross reference file to convert individual's staff id to uun has been prepared 
    • Single Sign On has been successfully configured 
  • Data Transfer 
    • Work is on-going to investigate the suppliers preferred option of data encryption of PGP
    • Information Security have approved the proposed method of data transfer 
    • Confirmation to use visitor data has been confirmed by Student Services

Achievements this Period

  • The upgrade to the Test system has been completed 
  • User Acceptance Testing has commenced
    • All the testing has been completed for all the admin process and also advanced searches, with no issues reported 
    • meeting with Health Surveillance team member to discuss UAT requirements 
    • CHPS integration test has been successfully completed 
  • MJog sms txt messaging 
    • commercial details now confirmed 
    • confirmation from the supplier has been received that a Test environment will be installed in this instance 
    • infrastructure requirements confirmed for the service and new vm machines for Test and Live requested 
  • Single Sign On
    • Discussions are on-going with the supplier regarding configuration, but no issues anticipated 

Issues 

  • There will be a requirement to clarify the remaining activity and associated schedules for the project with the business in relation to 
    • Phase 1 - live deployment of the upgrade as planned 
    • Phase 2 - live deployment of the MJog txt sms txt message service 
    • Phase 3 - sign-off the portal deployment on Test and Live to enable the business to roll-out at a later date
  • Next Steps

  • Install the Mjog sms txt messaging service 
  • Configure Single Sign-On (SSO) for the portal 
  • Complete UAT on the Test system with relation to 
    • SSO
    • Health Surveillance related activities
  • Review phased implementation requirements
