Report by Kevin Hone for May 2019

Achievements this Period

  • WIS gave approval to closing the Project Planned Milestone.
  • The overall project is progressing well to plan.
  • The first development sprint was completed on time and slightly under budget.
  • The second development sprint is underway with sure and steady advancement.
  • The feasibility study of an automated FitNote solution has been replaced with a Jira issue being raised to provide a tactical CSV solution.
  • Sprint releases have been deferred in order to allow more immediate focus on clearing and testing the development backlog.

Issues

  • Competing and unplanned, higher prioritised project demands have impacted on the availability of our assigned development resource.  To mitigate this and in agreement with the project sponsor, future sprints will focus on the 'Must Have' Jira issues.

  •

Work on the tactical CSV solution is dependent upon Occupational Health agreeing the necessary data items being available from the 3rd party solution provider. Discussions between the two continue.

Next Steps

  • To conclude sprint 2.
  • To review and agree content of  sprint 3.
  • A go/no go decision on code release or carry forward.
