  • Current project activity during the month has focussed on re-planning the eOPAS upgrade after clarification received regarding the HR data feed 
  • Clarification on the planned projects for the current academic year have been clarified

Plan

This project has been declared as part of the annual planning process  for 2018-19 and is now scheduled to commence in November 2018

Dependencies:

- will require considerable input from the Fire Safety team in defining requirements and required business processes prior to entering any procurement process

- will require input from the Estates department and business partners throughout the  University

- will require input from the Procurement department

- will require input from IS Applications Development Technology , Development and IS Applications Production Management

Achievements

  • Successfully decommissioned LIVE OPAS on October 1st
  • Having received clarification regarding the decision on the HR data transfer for specific fields it has been decided to 
    • update the current HR data feed to exclude the specified data fields.  User Acceptance Testing is currently being undertaken 
    • correction of the historic data transferred will be completed outwith this project and supplier will be contracted to complete this work after approval of the quote 
    • The implementation of the Portal and the sms text messaging facility will be de-scoped and completed as part of the next planned eOPAS upgrade 
    • the project will now close on the completion of the updated HT data feed
