Commentary
The UCP & Notifications Programme activity still progressing :
- DTI011 re-plan agreed and this project has now been suspended with resource budget being transferred to new project.
- SAS002 project is now close and a follow on project for rollout has been initiated
- UCP re-plan now under DTI044 UCP uPortal5, Content Migration and UI Redesign and project brief due to be submitted via planning process within IS Applications
- DTI020 is gathering momentum following discussions with USD and Exam Scheduler project for potential integrations, the project team are preparing activity to deploy the basic notifications backbone targetting an end of May date and pilot to start from 11th June.
- The key risk to the programme budget overspend now reduced following decrease of 116 days, this was approved by Portfolio Manager and Programme Owner.

Achievements in last period
- WP1 :
- All JIRAs reviewed in regards to pilot no showstoppers highlighted
- Service Governance documentation review complete and ready for issue to Steering Group
- Deployment implementation plan reviewed and updated for Notification UI / API and Notification and Emergency portlets
- Pilot implementation reviewed and updated
- Handover activities to support
- Load test planning
- WP1 : EUCLID trigger meeting held with Student System to review post graduate awards, requires Student Systems resource to support
- WP3 : A further session held with SAS005 Exam Scheduler/ DTI020 with project developers to understand integration links
- WP4 : Workflow diagrams distributed for comments by project team, arrange further session to walkthrough and update with team
- EASE / AD synchronisation review possible areas where notifications could assist
- Project team Away Half Day to review project, Implementation Planning, EUCLID Trigger plans and Rollout from Pilot, Governance
Issues
- Key roles of Service Owner / Business Owner remains to be confirmed, Colan Mehaffey is currently fulfilling interim Service Owner role whilst LTW confirm permanent owner.
- Awaiting final confirmation with regards to Business Service Owner role.
- Project team are re-planning work packages for further integration to aid live rollout of the service
- WP0 - Replan and request to set up as separate project
