Achievements in Last Period

• Content migration on TEST complete
• Functional testing on TEST complete
• UAT by businesses complete and passed
• TEST sign off achieved
• Service alerts raised and Go-Cab form filled in.

Issues

• Deployment date had to move by two days from 11/12/18 to 13/12/18 due to Dev Tech and Tech Man being on a training course
• The testing on LIVE caused issues with the old LIVE environment where it required constant restarts. This has been investigated and new LIVE was shutdown after the testing was complete to see if that resolved the issue.
• Project is AMBER on Cost due to effort for Service Management time now being applied to project time, (15 days) and additional unestimated tasks required in DEV, eg, 360 eyes set up,  checks and connection changes required after INF121 database upgrade project upgraded DEV (old and new servers), issues with the migration tool not migrating all data content.

Next Steps

• Deployment to LIVE
• SSO and Launchpad issue resolved

• Two additional colleagues in Service Management now assisting with migrations

• An issue with licensing on the replacement server held up progress, this has now been resolved.

Achievements

• UAT planning completed.
• IDM Test migration to the new SOA Test environment completed.
• We are awaiting a certificate to be installed by Dev Tech before UAT can start.  Planned for 4th December.

Issues

• UAT has been delayed due to a dependency on the INF121 project.  As part of INF121 there is a requirement to test the VRS application on the new version of Oracle.  As VRS uses SOA technology we cannot upgrade SOA to v12 until the INF121 testing has completed (now completed).

• As a result, our deployment date of mid Feb is at risk until we are underway with UAT and have reviewed progress.

Next steps

• UAT to progress over December and January.

• Prepare for Live migration in mid February.

RAG Commentary

- Issue: UAT has been delayed due to a dependency on the INF121 project.

- Impact: No impact to our Live deployment date (mid Feb), but it is now at risk.

- Plan to resolve: We will monitor UAT progress over December and consult with stakeholders regarding a revised deployment date if mid Feb is not possible.
