During December,

Work on the Kx Infrastructure project continues. the project is currently running around four weeks behind schedule due to unexpected technical issues encountered during the build and testing of the primary Test Application Webserver
Initial project proposals have been received for the next Annual planning round. The programme manager will look to arrange an estimation meeting before the end of January
The Salto Door Access project has been deferred to Q3 2019 until the Network Replacement project is more advanced. As a result, the overall programme budget will now be reduced by 50 days to 112 days

Regarding the strategy around the Delivered Catering procurement is on-going

Achievements in the last period

Application Webserver
- Testing was successfully completed on the test primary Application Webserver
- Test secondary Application Webserver built
- DNS switched-over to commence testing - initial tests confirmed all websites loading
Load Balancer
- Health pages were created for each of the individual websites
- Initial manual checks were successfully carried out
- Requests for websites configuration completed
Project Plan
- Re-planned based on completion of the test primary Application Webserver

Issues

Additional time was required to complete the testing of the primary test Application Webserver, due to the following issues requiring to be resolved
- MyEd Channels not rendering - code change required as a result of now resolving all web applications to a single IP address on the webserver – as opposed to individual IP addresses
- Downloading the Kx inspections application for android based devices
- Unable to access EIT server - requiring IP changes to be incorporated on the current load balancer
- Excessive emails being generated from the Kx parcels application - attributed to an issue with the database mirroring resulting in multiple email re-tries
Kx Mobile - It was agreed that any potential complications trying to resolve the Kx Mobile installation should be avoided. As the application is not currently live, the preference would now be a new installation after this project work was completed

RAG Commentary

The project has been re-planned due to the extended time to complete UAT on the test primary application server. This will result in a project extension of five weeks. The delay is not directly impacting on the business.
