Project start delayed. Project was expected to start on recruitment of a Project Manager. PM role offered, with start date December 2019 - transfer from SEP.
SEP have subsequently requested a 3 moth notice period, which means a start date of end Jan '20 for this project. This puts significant risk onto EBIS decommissioning activity, and may affect Estates ability to align with Core Systems timescales for process, integrations and data requirements

RAG Commentary
Scope: This project seeks to establish Estates requirements for Finance and Procurement, and to align these requirements with Core Systems designs. This will mean decommissioning the current EBIS technology (Archibus customisations) and to establish new processes between Estates and Core
Time: This project awaits the placement of new Project Management resource. A Project Manager has been recruited from SEP Programme to start December 2019. SEP have subsequently stated that the resource may not be released until end January 2020. Discussions are underway, expected to conclude w/c 11th Nov.
Impact: Estates will be unable to align with Core Systems timescales, affecting the ability to plug Estates in to Core Systems processes and decommissioning plans for EBIS.
Next steps: Agree start date for new Project Manager with SEP. Establish mitigation options for resourcing risks. Start project and manage business risks re-engagement with Core Systems
