Section One: Programme Commentary, RAG and Resources Update

Commentary

The overall status of the HRS Programme is GREEN , with both the GDPR project and the HESA project reporting GREEN this month.

During October:

  • The GDPR project reached an agreement to close the project without implementing the proposed solution, but with agreement to document it; and the project is set to close next month
  • The HESA project completed its final submission, and is set to close next month

The budget for the HRS programme for 2019/20 is set at 247 days from core allocation; this breaks down as 16 days for programme/portfolio management, 220 days for the HESA projects and 11 days for the contingency.

  • HRS096 is a continuing project from session 18/19; budget is to be allocated from this session's allocation once the estimated remaining effort has been confirmed.

Achievements this Period

  • Receive confirmation from HR that we are to close the project without implementing the planned solution.
  • Final delivery raised and approved at WIS in prep for project closure.

Next Steps

  • Carry out a controlled closure saving the proposed plan, estimates and existing scripts so that the solution could be implemented if required.
