Section One: Programme Commentary, RAG and Resources Update

Commentary

The overall status of the HRS Programme is AMBER, with the GDPR project reporting AMBER and the HESA project, GREEN.

During April:

  • A fix was implemented for the Phase 1 anonymisation requirement under the GDPR project and is awaiting user acceptance testing; and further discussions were held regarding Phase 2 (EDW) but remain unresolved.  A request has been made for additional budget to complete Phase 1.
  • Planning continued for the HESA project, with the project brief being revised and signed off; and initial estimates put forward to implement the requirements  in scope

Achievements this Period

  • Phase One - Revised script fix coded and tested and raised with HR for UAT. 
  • Phase Two - Lack of progress due to EDW prioritisation raised with project sponsor.

Issues

  • Once UAT signed off HR to confer with GaSP on REF issues regarding whether the proposed solution is acceptable and we can progress to go live.

Next Steps

  • Phase One - Latest proposed solution needs to be discussed with HR to agree resolution and confirm Anonymisation compliance
  • Script fix coded and tested in prep for UAT.
  • Once issues resolved HR to line up UAT resource to confirm issue resolution.
  • If GaSP satisfied progress for proposed initial live run on the 8th of July.
