Section One: Programme Commentary, RAG and Resources Update

 

Commentary

The programme manager considers that overall the programme is GREEN, as the risks associated with the need to upgrade the Erecruitment  application are likely to be downgraded soon.  It is expected that a new contract will be signed in October and that there will be no need to upgrade Erecruitment in 2018/19 or 2019/20.

The start of year budget has been set at 232 days, which contains 20 days of contingency.

Achievements

  • HR 'Submit HESA return' milestone was completed early for the September Milestone
  • IS were available to provide support, but were not needed in September

Achievements this Period

  • Clarification from the business with regards phase 1 fields to be de-identified.
  • Phase 1 business analysis on-going to complete BRD. 
  • Systems analysis and design on-going.

Issues

  • Delay in clarification of fields to be de-identified impacted completion of analysis documents.  This has now been resolved.

Next Steps

  • Business to sign off BRD.
  • NEWSTEST and NEWSDEV environments to be refreshed from live prior to integration testing and UAT.
  • Budget  and milestones to be re-reviewed by the new Project Manager in line with ASTA / resource bookings.
  • Define / analyse the requirements for Phase Two - Historical job application data in eRecruitment and associated universes.
