Buy@Ed is the University of Edinburgh’s contract and supplier database that provides the functionality to allow all users the ability to review current University of Edinburgh contracts.  It has recently been identified via an audit report that improvements to the system functionality (regarding contract information) were required in order to enhance the service provided and ultimately, to make the solution more effective in terms of analytics.

As part of this project (PPS011), there is a requirement to enhance the existing Buy@Ed service in order to improve user current experience and admin functionality.  In addition to this, there is also a reporting requirement to capture data pertaining to searches undertaken in order to identify gaps within the current supplier model and to enhance the overall procurement support.
