Achievements in Last Period

• Implementation roll out steps for live deployment updated ready for live deployment
• Completed Acceptance sign off, for change based feed testing
• Communication plan on-going activity
• Minor fixes completed e.g. Date of Birth date issue on VRS/IDM and tested ready for live deployment
• Production handovers held for Application and Infrastructure
• Business area training completed in advance of deployment
• Pre implementation activity in advance of a successful live deployment
• Library Registration Service went live on 26th January as planned

Issues

• Some minor issues highlighted following deployment however these were resolved straight away by the project team

Next

• Finalise SDD documentation
• Complete Deployment Review sign off
• Complete project closure documentation and gain approval to close project

Achievements in Last Period

• Evaluation of whole life costs to finalise evaluation phase

• Management of any clarification questions to / from suppliers
• Preparation for recommendation to the project board
• Recommendation presented to Project Board on 27^th January 2017 and gained approval for winning supplier
• Award and Regret Letters issued
• Terms and Conditions activity underway with Procurement Legal team
• ‘As Is’ business processes review meetings have taken place with key SMEs to map out existing process
• Review of benefits/KPIs are in progress to establish baseline statistics and set targets for the reading list procurement project.

Issues

• As the project will now move into implementation / integration phase a review of the project budget will be required with discussion/ agreement with Programme Manager and Project Sponsor on any additional funding required

Next Steps

• Review 'as is' business process further with SMEs to understand review list process
• Complete Terms and Conditions negotiations and contractual work
• Provide an overview of implementation project structure
• Updates to Communication Plan, Project Roles, Implementation Plan
• Project budget review
• Continual monitoring and action on project risks
