TEST upgrade 7-10 Jan 14.

Work planned to be completed between 7 and 10th Jan, with final checking out on Monday, before testing gets underway

Tuesday 7th

• Ewan and Michael worked till 7pm  on Tuesday.
• Michael was happy where they had reached by that time.
• Issues found yesterday were sorted and on Wednesday
• Agreed Ewan and Michael will restart at 4pm our time on Wed 8th.

Wednesday 8th

• Difficult to establish if the problems on Wenesday are with both Sciquest AND Servers at our end
• Serious server / infrastructure failure and the data base is still down
• Have to wait until Thursday to see where we have reached.

Thursday 9th

• Servers are being brought back up between12 noon and 2pm.
• Prod Management expect all services to be available by 2pm.
• Ewan and Mike will be resuming at 2pm today.
• They are both online again this afternoon after the issues this morning

• We can now log into the app and the simple functional tests seem OK - bar 1 which SciQuest are investigating.

• Tomorrow we should be looking at some user testing - Jeff Borthwick will actually do a bit this evening.

•  This leaves the admin Powerbuilder install on a couple of PCs and some testing of this.

Friday 10th

• Ewan has just finished with SciQuest support and thinks we have everything working now.

Monday 13th

• Ewan just needs to get the admin module working for Jeff
• It works for Ewan, but at the moment it doesn't for him.
• Hopefully this will be quickly fixed this morning
