Budget:

Following the mid-year review changes to the budget, budgets for the following in-progress projects will be reviewed during the planning stage:

TEL032 BlackBoard Collaborate MyEd Channel Refresh 

TEL033 Learn and Student Record Grade Exchange Feasibility Study

 

Additionally, a proposal for the Online Assessment Evaluations (years 2 and 3) days will be discussed at the next Programme meeting.

Achievements in Last Period

  • Build review sign off achieved
  • Deployment to test completed and Integration testing signed off
  • Commence UAT by Moodle Service team

Issues

  • Build review sign off delayed: data source cretaed, peer testing fixes resolved and clarity on course code information finalised with Student Systems before agreement to move to Integration.
  • Final confirmation on using existing Grouper information on course code provided by Student Systems
  • Review current milestones following completion of Integration testing - this was delayed due to database refresh from Live to resolve a Service Issue and also key resource - Moodle Service manager on leave when deployment to live is targetted so the project team will complete a review of testing progress and agree a revised date.
  • Review impacts of delays on project budget

  • Project brief out to project team for perusal

  • Awaiting access to API from BlackBoard, however it was agreed with the Programme Manager at the regular programme meeting 26/01/16 to start the project.
  • Issues round resourcing to be monitored
